Following our AGM last month, we welcome Glynn Thomas and Jonny Plater onto our management committee. Brian Thorpe remains Club President - a position he has held for over 20 years. Brian is a true gentlemen and we are proud to have him as President.

2019 SUBSCRIPTIONS

Membership is now due for the 2019 Season – and fees will remain the same as 2018. Please see below for details of each tier:

Senior Playing Membership - £75

Junior Playing Membership - £50

Under 9s Membership - £20

Bar Membership - £5

New for 2019 is the ability pay electronically via the club website. This will entitle you to a £5 discount on all levels of subscriptions with the exception of Bar Membership. Please register with our website to be able to pay electronically. Parents or Guardians of Junior Members will have to register on behalf of their child. Please visit www.wathcricketclub.co.uk to register.

Each membership tier (not including Bar Membership) includes £10 of SYSCL Raffle Tickets, therefore if you sell all the tickets then you will keep the £10 (in effect a £10 saving).

Membership also entitles you to discounts on all alcoholic drink purchases.

We will be holding a registration day at the Club on Saturday 6th April for any cash membership payments.

WINTER NETS

Senior nets begin on Monday 25th February at St Pius School in Wath between 8pm-9pm.

Junior Sessions are also held at St Pius School starting on Friday 1st March between 5pm-6pm.

All players are welcome - both old and new!

CRICKETFORCE 2019

We will be taking part in the Natwest CricketForce weekend on Saturday 6th April and we need as many volunteers as possible to ready the club for the new season. From tidying the nets and cleaning the bar and kitchen area, to moving the sightscreens and cleaning the changing rooms - many hands make light work! Please do all you can to help us out on this important day – the first home game will only be two weeks away!

MONTHLY DRAW

Our Montly Draw continues to be a great success with prizes of £150 and £50 shared each month.

We currently have almost 80 entrants into the competition - it would be nice to have even more players, as then the prize pool will also increase!
